Does anyone have any info about Hata Toshiki? Not the general stuff, like which celebrities he played drums for or his love of Kagura (ancient Shinto music and dancing) and the traditional Japanese drums, but interesting details and tidbits. There's something about him I find slightly eccentric, dorky, and just plain charismatic. I love watching him. To me, he lightens up the "Adult" theme the band has going, and it's refreshing. He's the one guy who always looks like he's having fun. <3
Oh, and you guys have probably been asked this before, but which of these members would you have in the band:
-Ukigomo or Hirama?
-Izawa or HZM?
I'd have Hirama and Izawa. Screw Hirama's solo career. XD He makes TJ rock out, and sometimes I disagree with the direction of the band, because his bombastic style doesn't match the "Adult" theme. I wish he stayed nonetheless, because Ukigomo in my opinion doesn't seem to step it up. Ukigomo is delightfully awkward and seems to relish it in though, which makes him entertaining enough to watch in his own right. I think it'd be better for HZM to focus his attention on P'EZ. I don't think the responsibilities of Tokyo Jihen would give him enough freedom to fully work with P'EZ. With people like Hirama and Kameda taking the front, I don't like the idea of the pianist fighting for attention. Izawa seems more comfortable taking the background. I am no music expert; these are things I observe through the vids at Youtube. It's convinced me that "Electric Mole" is made of lots of Awesome and that it's worth this poor college kid shelling out some cash. XD
